You’ve followed your nose to Stellenbosch, lured in by its fantastic bouquet, so of course number one on your to-do list is a tasting – this is the Winelands after all.
Select our 'Food & Wine' experience, the Dine & Vine hopper, and you'll be taken on taste-tingling food tour around the white-washed Dutch inspired town centre before boarding the hop-on hop-off system of Stellenbosch’s Vine Hopper - stop off at the vineyards you like and sample the world-class wines on offer. Some offer chocolate pairings too!

Suitably wined and dined, why not try our 'Active' guided waterfall hike in Jonkershoek Nature Reserve? A UNESCO world heritage site, Jonkershoek, besides sitting pretty, has an important role to play. This nature reserve provides water to Stellenbosch and its surrounding areas, as well as being home to a number of rare mammals. Leopards, honey badgers, baboons and mongoose can all be found here – but keep your eyes peeled because they’re generally fairly camera shy.
Back in Stellenbosch town, between browsing the boutique shops and galleries, Stellenbosch University Botanical Garden is the perfect setting in which to pause for a spot of tranquility. Free of charge, it’s definitely worth spending an hour here.
